I had a friend jokingly ask me awhile back if I was really photographing models instead of High School students. I can see why she asked because every single one of these graduates have been 100% beautiful- inside and out. As you can see, this girl was certainly no exception!
Not only is she gorgeous but she is also incredibly intelligent and talented. She has competed in Irish Dancing for the past 15 years.
These High School sessions have restored my faith in the future! With people such as these students we are in good hands.

I was so happy when this beautiful calgary high school graduate contacted me for a photography session.
She is such a confident, cheerful, creative, gorgeous girl. We spent a few hours together and had a great time! She was willing to trust me and try any idea I came up with. She even got to cheer me on as I practiced my long jump skills from high school and hurdled over a small creek. I managed to make it to the other side but figured from that point on I might just be better to walk through the water in an effort to save my pride and camera :) (Seeing as how I have taken two really good spills in past two weeks).
I am really looking forward to the upcoming graduation sessions I have booked in the next few weeks. I have been so impressed with all of them!
If you are graduating in 2010 or 2011 please feel free to contact me for your own session. It is always so nice to shoot these when we have sun and warm weather.

I feel like the luckiest person in the entire world right now.
I have always dreamed and dreamed of witnessing a baby entering this world. Sure I’ve been there for my own but that doesn’t count. It’s not the same when you’re scared, hopped up on morphine, and in a lot of pain :)
Almost 7 years ago I was able to watch through the window as my niece was delivered by c- section. That was really amazing. This time though I actually got to go in with my sister-in-law Kelly as she labored and delivered… TWINS.
Almost 6 years ago Kelly and I were waiting for the birth of our sons together. We had the exact same due date. She was in California at the time and I was in Calgary. I ended up having my son 3 days before she had hers. These two little boys are practically like twins themselves. They say that they came down from Heaven together and I don’t doubt it for a minute. Shortly after the birth of these boys, Kelly and my brother made the move to Calgary and we’ve been living about 7 houses apart ever since :)
I went on to have another little boy after that (my fourth) and Kelly waited so patiently to expand her family. It could not have been more of a blessing or miracle when we found out that they were expecting twins. A boy and a girl!
Kelly has been the bravest person I know through this pregnancy. She carried on without a complaint. She continued to be the best mom and aunt all the way along.
These gorgeous little babies made their debut 4 weeks early. The boy, Kingston Silver, came out first weighing 7lbs 4oz and the sweet little girl, Penelope “Penny” Love… was 6lbs 7oz.

I grant that the image below is not the best quality in the world, but it is so very amazing. These are the twins when they were just a few cells old. Not very many people have baby pictures like these!
It was so neat because the twins had the exact same heart beat so often. It was fun to watch them beat together.
As soon as the little guys was born they brought him to mom. He gave her a nice big smile! Look at those dimples.
