Do you have something in your life that you always talk about doing and just don’t seem to get around to? One of those things that you think would be fun but requires a lot of planning and time. And let’s be serious, who has time?
Well, who would have known that one of the things on our list was to dress my son up as a leprechaun! Yep you heard me, a leprechaun. We’ve always thought he looked a bit like a troll or leprechaun so there was no time like the present ♣ And when I say this, I mean it in the kindest, most possible way. I love this kid.
I know that I would have never gotten around to doing this and so lucky for me my awesome brother and his wife and their 5 month old daughter spent their Saturday with my little leprechaun. They put together a great outfit for him and my oldest son helped apply the beard and nose.
My little man felt so fancy about it and loved going around from door to door surprising people and offering them candy. He even had a special dance that he’s been practicing for years. At one point he literally jumped out from under a bridge and asked a passerby “do you have me gold?” It was so funny!
So, here are a few shots from today. The rainbow was of course added in after the fact. Since I am obsessed with rainbows, I just so happened to have one handy.

I am so excited to let you all in on a special being offered at jewelimage photography!
It is something that does not happen very often but my heart is begging me to do it and so I must.
The past few years I have been learning from the most amazing photographer, Jesh De Rox. (click on his name to learn more about these sessions)
The more I learn about allowing and assisting people in being themselves, the more I need to do it. No more will you see people smiling uncomfortably at the camera. Or wondering where they should put their hands. Through the natural and fun and sensitive experiences I ask you to participate in, you will experience that spark all over again. My husband and I did a beloved session with Jesh about a year and a half ago and it was incredible. Neither of us are too comfortable in front of the camera but we didn’t even know the camera was there. We questioned some of the crazy stuff that Jesh asked us to do but when we viewed our gallery of images, we were blown away and it all made sense! We will cherish that experience and those images forever. I love having pictures of the two of us around the house so that our kids can see every day how much their parents love each other.
As I have expanded my business and have photographed more and more couples, I have had some pretty amazing responses. One client (the husband) said this,
