I have known this beautiful girl for about six years now. She has truly been a blessing in our lives. She has been so wonderful with my kids and also with me! She is truly one of a kind and my family will miss her as she goes to college next year. Especially my four year old who plans on marrying her.

Thank you for being in our lives! Good luck next year. We can’t wait to see you dominate on the volleyball court. We love you!

Feb 15: National Association of Professional Child Photographers-calgary award winner

I was excited beyond belief to learn that I had placed in the the National Association of Professional Child Photographers International Image Competition. Not only that, there were several photographers from the Calgary and surrounding area who placed in this competition. It is nice to live in a City with so much talent and with so many fellow photographers who join together and encourage each other along the way. The Calgary photography community is amazing.

There were many categories in this competition such as newborn, child, toddler, family, senior, sibling and more. It is truly an honour to see the NAPCP ribbon around one of my images :) It inspires me to keep going, reach higher, and continue to express myself through imagery.

I was lucky enough to spend a VERY cold hour with this amazing Calgary family a few weeks ago. They were tons of fun to be around and didn’t complain when I asked them to trek through the snow and cuddle up close. In fact, they were SO cold… we caught the kids cuddling without us even asking :)
