I have known this amazing family for many years and was thrilled when they asked me to capture their memories. I absolutely love family photography because I think their is nothing more amazing or important than family. I know how much my own family photos mean to me and I love being able to give others something very special to hold on to for years to come.
The light this night could not have been more magical. My favourite!

It was so much fun photographing these three friends who just graduated high school. We had tried and tried to meet up during the summer but busy schedules and lots of rain kept us waiting. These girls were such great sports to shoot in the freeeeezzing cold!
I absolutely love photographing teens. They are so much fun, so open, and so darn beautiful.

This teen session was one of those magical nights a photographer could only hope for. It had been raining most of the evening but I kept holding on to hope that our session would not have to be rescheduled. Sure enough, the rain stopped right before our session was to take place and we decided to go for it! It ended up being a warm, well lit, and beautiful sort of evening.
As our session began, I remarked that the only thing that would make it better would be a rainbow. As we were driving home- there it was! A rainbow. You must know by now that I LOVE rainbows. My grade 12 graduate was so kind to me and was willing to hop out of the car for a few more shots with the beautiful colours in the sky :) Thank you.
As always, I am loving these teen sessions. I encourage everyone entering grade 12 this year to book your very own session. It is so much fun and is the perfect way for you celebrate yourself and this important time of your life. It is also a fun thing to do with friends!
