I first met Jeff and Nicole about a year ago when I shot their engagement session. They were so sweet with one another and so much fun that I knew I had to shoot their wedding when they asked me.
It was a beautiful Canmore wedding. One bride, one groom, 25 guests and a whole lotta love!
They were married with the mountains as their backdrop at the Silvertip Resort and their reception was at the Bear and Bison. A great Country Inn that they had rented for the weekend. The food was soooo delicious and the Inn was able to accommodate the entire family.
Thank you both for sharing your day with me and for trusting me with your memories. It was amazing!

It seems that for someone who is not typically a “wedding photographer” I have been doing quite a few this past month. It has been so inspiring being a witness and a photographer as these gorgeous couples have unified themselves. I have had to wipe away more than a few tears as I see and feel the love they have toward one another. As I see the vast difference in the ceremonies themselves I recognize that the emotion and love between the bride and groom is just as palpable as the next. It has been a true pleasure being involved.
Thanks to my photography BFF, Maria Lang of Maria Lang photography for asking me to join her in capturing this gorgeous wedding. It is always a pleasure to work with Maria. Although our styles differ, we work so well together. So many times we’ll laugh as our shutter fires at the exact same time. We don’t usually have to even speak to each other- we just work and shoot and laugh. Yes, we are pretty silly sometimes.

What a celebration this wedding was!
Every detail was attended to, everyone was emotional and happy, and the bride and groom were so in love it made my heart want to burst :)
I was happy when Terence Law asked me to shoot this wedding with him. Banff is so gorgeous and Terence is so professional and talented that I had to say yes!
It was during this wedding that I realized how valuable a wedding planner truly is. Terra Law of Inspired Occasions made sure that this whole day went off without a hitch! I sat in awe as I watched her orchestrate each event. She and her team were so organized and helpful. The bride and groom’s families were able to celebrate the day with them instead of running around trying to keep the wedding afloat.
