I wanted to be sure to do a session for my nephew as he turned one. It’s hard to believe that a year has gone by so quickly. One year ago, I was overjoyed to share THIS post. Fast forward one year and life is still good!
I love these pictures of little Wallace but I equally love the pictures of my beautiful sister and her husband and my gorgeous little niece.

I had a wonderful time with this Okotoks family last Saturday. We met at the Saskatoon farm and enjoyed the last little bit of warm sun we will probably get this year. It was a wonderful afternoon. It’s such an eclectic place to visit with yummy food, gardens, chickens and a whole bunch of stuff. We had a great time. We finished our session at Big Rock in Okotoks. The sun was setting and it was a beautiful night for a family session. I loved watching these adoring parents interact with their daughter. It’s so nice to see and feel this love among families. This family will be welcoming a new baby in about 4 weeks. Doesn’t this mom look amazing!

I was so excited this past summer when I could FINALLY meet up with my good friend Rebecca and FINALLY get our boys together!!
Rebecca and I met when my oldest son was not even one. After that, she had a son, then I had one, then she had one…. then we moved to different cities and well, we kept having boys, boys, boys!!
I convinced her to come to Calgary just over three years ago and photograph my four boys. She was able to meet my last two guys but I still had not met all of her “little monkeys”. I dreamed of the day that we could get them all together! Our paths finally crossed in Utah of all places and we made it happen! They got along great as boys tend to do. We walked up to Bridal Veil Falls and had a lovely afternoon. Of course Rebecca and I didn’t get a lot of visiting in with “mom, mom, mom” every two seconds but it was wonderful just the same!
Here is a shot of the boys… we are still in amazement that we don’t have a single pig tail between us :)
