It is so hard to believe that it has almost been one year since these babies were born. Being in the room at their birth and being able to photograph it all was truly one of the highlights of my life. It is something that I will never forget. The excitement, anticipation, joy, and miracle of it all. I was so proud of my brother and his wife. It was like nothing I had ever seen before.
Fast forward a year, and these babies could not be more loved. They have both been through so much this past year. Many weeks in the NICU, several subsequent hospital visits, operations and a lifetime of antibiotics… but they are here and if you ask their auntie, they are perfect.
I love you King and Penny. I am so lucky to have you in my life.

“I want to grow up to be the person my dog thinks I am”. A friend of mine has this displayed in her house and I think it is so true. Our pets are so loving, so forgiving, and so accepting. I was so excited when this gorgeous girl wanted some pictures of herself and her sweet little dog Ginger. We had fun in the snow. Ginger played and was perfect. Such a sweetie.

It was so much fun shooting this engagement session for this gorgeous couple. We had lots of ideas of fun things we wanted to try and they were up for absolutely anything.
Andrea and Brett are getting married in the summer so they thought it would be fun to do a Winter engagement session for a different look.
Photographing people in love is my favourite thing to do! For real. I like the emotion, the intimacy, the fun, and the chance to give people a little while to slow down and just connect. It makes me so happy.
